Bag’em matchbaits sponsors Heronbrook Fisheries

Bag'em matchbaits have teamed up with Heronbrook Fisheries in Staffs - the home of matchfishing.

We are delighted to have teamed up with Heronbrook Fisheries - one of the finest and best known venues the country has to offer explains Caroline Reed from Bag'em Matchbaits. Between ourselves and Heronbrook we have re named the forthcoming festivals as the Bag'em Jubilee Festival (2nd to 5th June) and the Bag'em Summer Festival (13th to 17th August). Along with large cash winnings Bag'em will be supporting the prize lists with much bait to be won by the entrants of these matches and others in the future.

Neil Dale, the owner of Heronbrook Fisheries, commented " this is exactly the type of partnership we wanted as we can now offer so many more prizes for our events".

No Shows to Pay

Five known anglers rang up late on Saturday evening and booked onto Sundays open match, all five known anglers failed to show for the draw, none of the five bothered to let Neil know they were not going or could not make it

This left the match short of attendees for Kamasam points, it also left empty pegs after the draw. The result of which Neil received grief from anglers who were expecting and told it was a Kamasan qualifier, along with grief from anglers complaining of empty peg advantages for other anglers

In future anyone who has booked on but cannot attend MUST contact Neil anytime up to 1 hour before the draw. Failure to do so will result in the angler being charged a peg fee (£8.00) they will be put on a list and will be refused entry to any open matches until they have paid the fee
