This photo was taken in August of 2005, the carp was caught in the Meadow pool and was one of my sons (Craig) first ever carp, not sure of its weight, if you want to have a guess? It was caught on the pole fishing pellet with sweet corn over. Thanks to Heronbrook my son was able to catch this fish, which he was delighted with

Personal Best295 viewsI caught this 22½ lb common carp in the match lake. I had been catching fish all afternoon and at around 6.45 pm the big carp took my floating bread bait. After a 20 minute fight I landed the fish. It is the biggest carp I have ever caught in 45 years of fishing.
