Dave
from Stockport, wins the qualifier with 101 lb 8 oz
of quality carp from peg 2 on the canal. An end peg
draw was helped when a local match ace drew peg 3 and
decided it wasn't even good enough to go to his peg.
This left Dave with plenty of room, of which he took
full advantage. Fishing a neat and tidy match Dave caught
most of his fish down both inside edges, about 2 meters
from both pegs 1 and 3. Dave fed caster, corn and worm,
using both worm and corn on the hook, taking one fish
from each swim in turn. Dave's swim built up during
the match, and by the end the fish were lining up.
You can't hide these winnings from
the missus Dave, it's all on film :)
